Sable Sanders
My name is Sable Sanders, and I would love to partner with you on your wellness journey. I am an LCSW and a Level 2 Shamanic Reiki Practitioner. In addition to providing therapeutic services in private practice, I have worked as a domestic violence advocate, parenting coach, school social worker, and community support specialist for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. I have also facilitated support groups and specialized workshops on various topics, including setting boundaries and self-care. This wide range of experience allows me to provide holistic care that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I understand how various aspects of life can interact and cause stress.
In our sessions, we will explore you and your world. Clients working with me can expect meaningful conversations that inspire introspection. I will ask the tough questions that aim to get to the root of your dissatisfaction. I provide a safe space where clients can process difficult feelings and learn to let go of painful emotions that may be weighing them down. I encourage clients to be compassionate and empathetic toward themselves on their wellness journey. I believe that self-love is more motivating than self-criticism.
My favorite aspect of working with clients is helping them recognize and connect with their inner strength. I don't think people give themselves enough credit for surviving, and I don't think they understand that it's okay to need help with the transition from surviving to thriving.
